XACUS Interview

 

Born in 1956 in San Vito di Leguzzano (Vicenza, Italy) thanks to Alberto Xoccato and a group of expert seamstresses, Xacus found its fortune in its surroundings: a unique mix of verve, creativity and innovation and then the ability of interpreting and exporting the the art of quality Italian shirts. As Alessia Xoccato, creative director of the brand's women's line, tells us in the following interview.


What is fashion for you?

A form of creation and expression.

When and why was the brand founded?

In 1956, from an idea by Alberto Xoccato, my grandfather.

Where do you draw  inspiration from when you create?

From people, particularly  those with an innate sense of style and elegance.

How would you describe the collection you are showcasing at White Show, Milan?

Transversal, feminine and contemporary, for a woman who loves to wear a shirt in every occasion.

Future projects?

Consolidating the current reference market and expanding distribution, as well as creating a line of clothing that retail consumer will particularly love.
