Scalapay is Innovative FinTech Partner of WHITE

Scalapay, Italian leader of buy now - pay later payments, has started a partnership with WHITE for the edition taking place from 24th to  27th February in the four locations of  Superstudio, Ex Ansaldo, Padiglione Visconti and Mudec. A partnership that resulted from a shared aim at the digitalization and internationalization of the market, which is increasingly Europe-oriented.
Scalapay, indeed, has introduced, in just two years, the payment service by three instalments in Italy, France, Germany,
Spain, Portugal, Finland, Belgium, Netherland and Austria, and within this year it will probably be present across Europe.

The business, founded in 2019 by Simone Mancini, Johnny Mitresvki, and later on joined by Raffaele Terrone, Daniele Tessari and Mirco Mattevi, has today 200 employees and represents one of the most used payment methods in Southern Europe, as well as being, in terms of client satisfaction, the first payment solution in the Trustpilot ranking.
Its core business - focussing on menswear, womenswear, kids, accessories, sport, cosmetics, electronics, travels and entertainment - can count on 205 million dollar investments and 3000 partner brands, among which the likes of Moschino, Alberta Ferretti, MSGM, Luisa Spagnoli, Decathlon, Intimissimi, Calzedonia and VeraLab.

We are proud to be supporting White during the next fashion week in Milan, as we rely on the Made In Italy and on the prêt-à-porter SMEs, which will display their premium products at the trade show. We strongly believe in the fashion industry and are constantly expanding the portfolio of merchant affiliates that have chosen Scalapay as sustainable payment solution, especially suitable for young people. Thanks to our service there is a 48% increase in the average receipts, and we believe that enhancing our presence in trade fairs like White can be a further milestone along the growth path of FinTech, so Simone Mancini, CEO of Scalapay.

Over the last two years, Scalapay has raised funding for 203 million dollar thanks to partners and institutional investors, such as Tiger Global, Baleen Capital, Woodson Capital, Fasanara Capital and Ithaca Investments. The latest round of founding, dated September 2021, has reached 155 million dollar equity funding in the framework of Series A investments. Scalapay srl, headquartered in Milan, is an Italian independent business, part of the Irish holdingiScalapay Ldt., and it counts over 200 employees.
