PARIDE PARRUCCHE Galleria&Friends

Since 1937 for every year the art of being well women.

Real and Italian hair for an art of "postiche" that aims for excellence thanks to the passionate work of five women. Paride Barbieri, after having had great success in the hairdressing business, goes to train in Paris in the art of postiche, inaugurating in 1937 in Milan, in his own home, as he used to do at the time, the wigs department. At the end of the 1960s, he divided the company between his two sons, assigning Vittoria the wigs section, which maintains its headquarters in the family home, on the third floor of a luxurious building on Via San Prospero. Over the years the activity continues unabated, and Mrs Vittoria forms a team of valid students.

Since 2010 Margherita Improta has taken over the brand, bringing forward the excellence learned over many years of work alongside Vittoria. Today in the laboratory there are five women, who take turns in the various phases of making the garments. The hair that Paride uses is only true and Italian. We start with Laura, the hairdresser, who cuts the hair of the volunteers who come here to sell them. Then Margherita intervenes, who inventories and arranges all the hair that arrives, dividing them by color. Then there are Franca, Daniela and Drana who prepare the caps and implant their hair one by one with thistles, frames and various wooden and iron wheels.
