Organic Silk capsule is Pierre-Louis Mascia's homage to the planet

Pierre-Louis Mascia's FW 22-23 collection includes a capsule that finds inspiration in his imagination where memories of all species coexisted harmoniously take shape. A visionary journey that pays homage to Nature and represents a warning to the inhabitants of this world.

Nature is the ine and only protagonist, both in design and in substance.

From his personal archive of illustrations, Pierre-Louis Mascia has selected and reinterpreted nine botanical and entomological prints from the 19th century with sophisticated images of sinuous birds or delicate dragonflies and bees. Only one  print refers to human species: a pencil drawing of small graphic skulls, symbolising the risk our species run due to the environmentally unfriendly lifestyle. The novelty in terms of style lies in the fact that for the first tome, prints are not placed all-over the fabric as it usually see on PLM's collections.

Shirts are certified GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard), which guarantees the content of natural fibres of organic origin, traceability, restrictions in the use of chemicals and compliance with environmental and social criteria at all stages of the production chain.

The Organic Silk - Souvenir collection is an important step in Achille Pinto's (excellence in the silk printing industry) journey towards sustainability. The synergistic work with the designer began in 2007 with a series of scarves, and then grew into a true total look and lifestyle proposal that includes apparel and accessories.
