How and when was Maison Flaneur born?

It was born on December 1, 2015, from my technical knowledge, acquired after years of experiences and working collaborations with principal figures in the fashion industry, which led me to learn and love the research of details, shape, and elegance. My team, composed of young creatives and professional collaborators, supports me in the development of each collection. The image of the brand always maintains its bohemian chic DNA. 

What is the philosophy of the brand?

I love knitwear processing in all its declinations: cast on, cut, corroded, handcrafted, up to the mix with fabric. I love modifying, mixing, and blending knitted and woven fibers, respecting their origin and characteristics but creating new compositions and contemporary materials, never predictable and well-rooted in the tradition of handmade and eco-friendly.

How and where are your garments made?

Our garments are made entirely by tailors and skilled artisan, precious and irreplaceable, people full of knowledge now rare and difficult to hand down. Our headquarters is the company Block Industrie. It locates in the province of Padua, in a beautiful valley in the Euganean Hills.

What materials do you prefer and why?

I prefer unconventional materials and colors, which visually intrigue but at the same time return positive feelings in any way a person desires. We want the materials of Maison Flaneur to communicate this.

What are you presenting during this edition of White?

We present the path and the story of our and personal flaneur within the company Block Industrie.
