KNIT KNIT Interview

How and when was KNIT KNIT born?

KnitKnit was born in 2011 in Brescia, thanks to a lucky gift (lurex tights) that inspires me by pushing me to develop a knit concept with a completely innovative technique.

What is the DNA of the brand, what kind of woman is it addressed to?

The target is extensive and transversal. Potentially, it includes the whole women's world and all women who feel continually evolving, who like to express their femininity even in the way of dressing, who always try to surprise, but without excesses, aware that true elegance is in the details.

Where are the garments made?

KnitKnit headquarters are in Bedizzole (BS) in the hills of Valténesi (Lake Garda).

Which yarns do you prefer for the realization of your collections?

As far as winter collections are concerned, I prefer fine natural yarns such as merino wool, cashmere, yak, and cooked wool made by hand to produce jackets and coats. In summer, in the name of lightness, Pima cotton (the best quality cotton) and cotton/silk for spring.

What are present during this edition of White?

During this edition of White, I will present the F/W 21/22. The collection consists of garments of different weights of merino wool, characterized by a mix of mesh stitches underlined by sophisticated chromatic games and inserts with three-dimensional colors. The nuances chosen for this collection range from different shades of browns and greens to brighter colors such as fuchsia and pink fluo.
