IT'S BEACHWEAR TIME!

The one and only must-have for Summer. The swimsuit, year after year, comes back as main piece of our wardrobe, shares our holidays with us and sometimes you can even spot it around the city. Here we bring to your attention three Italian beachwear brands that you absolutely must know.

KINDA 3D SWIMWEAR

Romantic and feminine, Kinda was born in 2018 from the desire of Alessandra Durastanti, former Brand Manager for brands such as Gucci and Hugo Boss. With a long passion for embroidery, the designer rediscovers the ancient three-dimensional sewing technique "Fabric Manipulation" and applies it for the first time in the beachwear sector. Each Kinda piece takes its names from Alessandra's vinyl collection, is 100% Made in Italy and tailor-made. In addition to women's and baby lines, Kinda offers a collection dedicated to brides. The SS 2021 "SUmmer Riviera" Collection is a tribute to friendship and Italian summer. The three-dimensional swimwear pieces come in warm shades inspired by the sultry summer afternoons and brighter colors such as yellow and petrol, reminding of citrus fruits and Mediterranean natural landscape.

SUAHRU

Sea and travel are the inspiring elements for Alessia, Claudia and Martina Manzella, the Sicilian sisters who founded SUAHRU in 2018, a beachwear brand with clean, sensual and elegant shapes. Like a second skin, their pieces blend with female body shapes, enhancing them and giving a sense of freedom. Its creations are called after the most beautiful islands in the world, made in Italy with a responsible purpose. Full colors, fabrics with minimal patterns and contrasts between ribs and tricot jersey are combined with bold and contemporary cuts. In addition to the women's collection, SUAHRU offers a line for kids.

ELISABETTA SAMMARCO

Elisabetta Sammarco founded her namesake brand in 2005 with the ambition of combining elegance with lightness, comfort with style. In constant search of precious and innovative materials, the designer creates her collections through a production chain entirely Made in Italy. The brand, which can be found in Italy but in selected stores of Ibiza and Formentera too, combines a clean and contemporary aesthetic with pop and bright colors, enhancing feminine body through a minimal, carefree approach. The SS 2021 collection, "Rainbow Collection", celebrates summer joy, a real rainbow of colors that faithfully traces and updates in an eclectic way the most popular styles presented in the last 16 years, when the brand was founded.
